The Ideological Work of the CPC

Hi! Welcome to“About China”. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China （CPC）. In today’s program, we will talk about “The Ideological Work of the CPC”.

Strengthening the Party's ideological work entails effective implementation within the Party of principles of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Theory of Three Represents, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It requires resolve to overcome any tendencies incompatible with Marxist thinking. Its essence is adherence to Marxist philosophy, so as to preserve the CPC's forward-looking vision and its purity, and ensure a high level of consistency in all the party's activities, including on the ideological or political front.
