《习近平谈治国理政》第三卷生动记录了党的十九大以来习近平总书记在领导推进新时代治国理政实践中发表的一系列重要论述，全面系统反映了习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，集中展示了马克思主义中国化的最新成果。关于全面深化改革 ，总书记这样说：

The third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China vividly records a series of important statements and speeches made by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, based on his experiences in state governance in the new era since the 19th CPC National Congress in 2017. It fully and systematically reflects Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and demonstrates the latest achievements in the Sinicization of Marxism. As for further Reform, General Secretary Xi said: 

——中国开放的大门只会越开越大

——China Will Open Even Wider

一个时代有一个时代的问题，一代人有一代人的使命。

All ages and generations have their own challenges and missions.

虽然我们已走过万水千山，但仍需要不断跋山涉水。

Chins has come a long way; but it has to overcome new challenges on its way ahead. 

在新时代，中国人民将继续自强不息、自我革新，

In this new era, the Chinese nation will continue to progress through reform. 

坚定不移全面深化改革，逢山开路，遇水架桥，

We will stay committed to advancing reform in all respects, 

敢于向顽瘴痼疾开刀，勇于突破利益固化藩篱，将改革进行到底。

and prevail over whatever challenges may lie ahead We will tackle longstanding problems with courage and resolve, and break the impediments of vested interests to carry reform through.

中国人民将继续大胆创新、推动发展，

The Chinese people will continue to take bold steps in breaking new ground to boost development.

坚定不移贯彻以人民为中心的发展思想，落实新发展理念，

Following the people-centered development philosophy and the new development vision, 

建设现代化经济体系，深化供给侧结构性改革，

we will modernize our economic system, deepen supply-side structural reform,

加快实施创新驱动发展战略、乡村振兴战略、区域协调发展战略，

and accelerate implementation of the strategies of innovation-driven development, rural revitalization, and coordinated regional development.

推进精准扶贫、精准脱贫，促进社会公平正义，

We will continue to work on targeted poverty alleviation and promote social equity and justice, 

不断增强人民获得感、幸福感、安全感。

so that our people will have a greater sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security.

我们要增强战略思维、辩证思维、创新思维、法治思维、底线思维，

we should adopt a strategic perspective, develop creative thinking and a dialectical approach; we should think in terms of the rule of law, and prepare for the worst-case scenarios. 

加强宏观思考和顶层设计，坚持问题导向，聚焦我国发展面临的突出矛盾和问题，

We need to enhance macro thinking and top-level design, remain problem-oriented, and focus on prominent problems facing our country. 

深入调查研究，

We need to carry out in-depth research,

鼓励基层大胆探索，

and encourage experiments in grassroots reform. 

坚持改革决策和立法决策相衔接，不断提高改革决策的科学性。

We need to make decision-making on reform consistent with decision-making on legislation, and make the former more rational.

我们要拿出抓铁有痕、踏石留印的韧劲，

In the spirit of “leaving a mark in the iron tools we clutch and footprints in the stones we tread”,

以钉钉子精神抓好落实，确保各项重大改革举措落到实处。

we should resolve problems with force and tenacity as a hammer drives a nail, and ensure that all major reform measures are implemented to the letter. 

我们既要敢为天下先、敢闯敢试，又要积极稳妥、蹄疾步稳，

We should hare the courage to break new ground and try out new experiments, and at the same time, make active yet prudent efforts to advance reform swiftly and steadily. 

把改革发展稳定统一起来，

In so doing, we will strike a balance between promoting reform, pursuing development, and maintaining stability.

坚持方向不变、道路不偏、力度不减，推动新时代改革开放走得更稳、走得更远。

We must advance reform and opening up in the right direction, on the right course, and with consistent force, so as to steadily promote reform and opening up in the new era.
