中法精神

2024年，中法建交迎来了60周年。1964年，法国成为首个同新中国正式建立外交关系的西方大国，这一历史性决策不仅为两国关系奠定了坚实基础，更对国际关系和世界格局产生了深远影响。

The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of China-France diplomatic relations. In 1964, France became the first Western major country to formally establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China. This historic decision not only laid a solid foundation for the diplomatic ties between the two countries, but also generated a profound impact on international relations and the global political landscape.

2024年5月5日至7日，国家主席习近平应邀访问法国。这是习近平时隔五年再次访问法国，也是继去年马克龙总统访华后，两国元首再次举行面对面的双边会晤。在此重要历史节点上的两国领导人会晤，不仅为两国关系注入了新的动力，更是开启了中法关系下一个60年的新征程。

From May 5 to 7, 2024, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited France by invitation. This was President Xi's second visit to France in five years, and the second face-to-face meeting between the two heads of state after French President Macron's visit to China last year. The meeting between the two leaders at this important historical juncture not only injected new impetus into the relationship between the two countries, but also opened a new journey for the next 60 years of China-France relations.

2024年1月召开的中法建交60周年招待会上，国家主席习近平曾强调，中法关系的独特历史塑造了独立自主、相互理解、高瞻远瞩、互利共赢的“中法精神”。

In January 2024, Xi stressed at a reception celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and France that the unique history of China-France relations has shaped the "China-France spirit," featuring independence, mutual understanding, foresight, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. 

其中，“独立自主”也是中法两国所坚持的外交政策。在不受外界干涉，坚持走自己的发展道路的原则下，法国是第一个同中国建立全面伙伴关系、全面战略伙伴关系，并开展战略对话的西方大国。

Among them, "independence" is an underlying feature of the foreign policy upheld by China and France. Under the principle of not being interfered by external forces and adhering to its own development path, France became the first Western major country to establish a comprehensive partnership and then a comprehensive strategic partnership with China and conduct strategic dialogue with China.

国之交在于民相亲，“互相理解”是民心相通的前提，两国人民通过文化年、文化中心、青年交流等多种形式，从文化到经济，从科技到教育，在交流互鉴中不断增进着友谊。

Amity between the people holds the key to state-to-state relations. "Mutual understanding" is the premise of closer people-to-people ties, and the people of the two countries have continuously enhanced their friendship through exchanges and mutual learning in various forms such as organizing Culture Year events, establishing cultural centers, and promoting youth exchanges and in various fields including culture, economy, science and technology, and education.

回望过去，中法关系的蓬勃发展，正是两国历代领导人远见卓识和不懈努力的成果。他们凭借“高瞻远瞩”的战略眼光，精准把握历史大势，不断推动着双边关系向前发展。

Looking back, the vigorous development of China-France relations is the result of the farsightedness and unremitting efforts of successive generations of leaders of the two countries. With farsighted strategic vision and accurate understanding of the general trend of history, they have continuously promoted the development of bilateral relations.

60年间，中法双边贸易额增长了近800倍。如今，中国已经成为法国在欧盟外的第一大贸易伙伴，法国也是中国在欧盟的主要贸易伙伴。两国之间的经贸合作，现已逐渐成为大国“互利共赢”之典范。

Over the past 60 years, the bilateral trade volume between China and France has increased by nearly 800 times. Today, China has become France's largest trading partner outside the EU, and France is also China's main trading partner in the EU. The economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has gradually become a model of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation among major countries.

六十载春秋，中法两国携手共进，如同两盏明亮的灯塔，在世界的海洋中彼此照耀，共同发出熠熠生辉的“和合之光”，照亮人类命运共同体的前行之路。

Over the past 60 years, China and France have moved forward hand in hand, like two bright beacons shining on each other, jointly emitting a shining "light of harmony" and illuminating the way forward for a global community of shared future.
