Firmly sticking to the strategic positioning in the overall development of the country

In recent years, Heilongjiang Province has made remarkable achievements in industrial revitalization and agricultural development. The added value of its manufacturing sector has increased steadily, with high-tech manufacturing industries flourishing. Its grain output has increased year after year, and the province ranks among the top in the country in terms of agriculture science and technology innovation and green development. Moreover, rural tourism and ice and snow tourism have become new drivers for economic growth. 

In this land full of vitality, Heilongjiang is writing a new chapter in rural revitalization and modernization with its unique charm and strength.

Heilongjiang has further implemented the industrial revitalization plan, and the added value of its manufacturing industry above the designated size increased by 1.4% year on year. 

The added value of high-tech manufacturing industries in the province increased by 12.3% year on year, 9.6 percentage points higher than the average level of the whole country. 

Heilong has achieved grain harvest for 20 successive years. Its annual grain output totaled 77.88 billion kilograms, accounting for 11.2% of the national total, ranking first in the country for 14 consecutive years. 

It has achieved 100% independent selected breeding of conventional japonica rice and soybean varieties, and its contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress reached 70.3%. 

The certified area of green and organic food production reached 94 million mu, ranking first in the country for years. 

The province built 8.686 million mu of high-standard farmland, with a cumulative built-up area of 108 million mu, ranking first in the country. 

Heilongjiang implemented the campaign to build “100 high-end villages, 1,000 demonstration villages, and 10,000 beautiful villages”.

The province has four national demonstration counties for rural revitalization.

The province has built two key national counties for leisure agriculture and 33 national demonstration towns and villages for rural governance. 

With the boom of Harbin’s ice and snow tourism, the yearly passenger throughput of the airport in the city reached a historical record of 20.805 million, ranking first in northeastern China.

The tourist number and tourism revenue of the city witnessed a year-on-year increase of 85.1% and 213.8%, respectively.
