习近平指出，今年是中智建交55周年。55年前，两国老一辈领导人高瞻远瞩，冲破冷战阴霾，开创了新中国同南美国家建交先河。半个多世纪以来，无论国际风云如何变化，中智关系这艘航船始终乘风破浪，引领中国同拉美国家关系发展潮流。中国和智利要不断丰富两国全面战略伙伴关系的时代内涵，打造中拉共同发展样板、南南合作典范，共同促进人类和平和进步事业。

习近平强调，中方愿同智方夯实政治互信，坚持相互尊重、平等相待、互利共赢，加强治国理政经验交流，在涉及彼此核心利益和重大关切问题上坚定相互支持，维护各自主权、安全、发展利益。双方要落实好共建“一带一路”合作规划，深化农林牧渔、产业投资、基础设施、绿色矿产等领域合作，培育天文、极地、人工智能、生物医药、数字经济等新增长点。中方支持更多中国企业赴智利投资兴业，欢迎更多智利优质产品进入中国市场。双方要加强文明互鉴，开展好教育、文化、媒体、青年等交流活动，便利人员往来，为两国关系长远发展奠定良好社会民意基础。当前，国际形势变乱交织，单边主义、保护主义逆流涌动，对国际经贸秩序造成严重冲击。作为多边主义和自由贸易的坚定维护者，中智要加强多边协作，捍卫全球南方共同利益。

博里奇表示，智利高度重视对华关系。中国已成为智利最重要的贸易伙伴，双方合作造福了两国人民。智方将坚定奉行一个中国原则，期待与中方进一步拓展贸易、投资、人工智能等领域合作，高质量共建“一带一路”，密切人文交流，推动智中关系取得更多实实在在的成果。各国应坚持自由贸易和互利共赢，贸易不应只服务于一国私利，发动贸易战没有出路。智方愿同中方一道，坚定捍卫多边主义和联合国权威，坚持通过对话解决分歧，共同维护国际公平正义。

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday met with Chilean President Gabriel Boric, who is in Beijing for the fourth ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC (the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Forum.

Noting that this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Xi said China and Chile should constantly enrich the connotation of their comprehensive strategic partnership, create a model of common development between China and Latin American countries, set a stellar example of South-South cooperation, and jointly promote the cause of peace and progress for humanity.

Xi said China is willing to work with Chile to consolidate political mutual trust, enhance exchanges of experience in governance, firmly support each other on issues concerning their core interests and major concerns, and safeguard each other's sovereignty, security and development interests.

Xi called on the two countries to implement the Belt and Road cooperation plan, deepen cooperation on agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, industrial investment, infrastructure and green minerals, and cultivate new growth points in astronomy, polar regions, artificial intelligence, biomedicine and digital economy.

China supports more Chinese enterprises in investing and doing business in Chile and welcomes more high-quality Chilean products to enter the Chinese market, he said.

He said both sides should enhance mutual learning among civilizations, carry out exchange activities in education, culture, media, and youth, and facilitate personnel exchanges.

As firm defenders of multilateralism and free trade, China and Chile should enhance multilateral collaboration to safeguard the common interests of the Global South, Xi added.

Noting that China has become Chile's most important trading partner, Boric said bilateral cooperation has benefited the two peoples.

He said Chile will firmly adhere to the one-China principle, and is ready to expand cooperation with China on trade, investment and artificial intelligence, jointly advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

All countries should adhere to free trade and mutual benefit and win-win results, and trade should not only serve the private interests of one country, Boric said, adding that waging a trade war leads nowhere.

Chile is willing to work with China to firmly safeguard multilateralism and the authority of the United Nations, insist on resolving differences through dialogue, and jointly uphold international fairness and justice, he said.

During his visit to China, the two sides signed a number of cooperation documents in fields such as economy, publishing, inspection and quarantine, media and think tanks.
