游本昌出生于1933年，长期从事戏剧表演，在《济公》等作品中塑造了许多深受人民群众喜爱的艺术形象，2024年荣获第32届中国电视金鹰奖中国文联终身成就奖。游本昌从事文艺事业70多年，早有入党心愿，但总觉得自己尚未达到党员条件。他2024年初郑重向党组织递交入党申请书，2025年5月被批准为中共预备党员。“七一”前夕，他参加了国家话剧院党委举行的入党宣誓仪式。

Xi sends regards to renowned actor who joins CPC at 92
